En el campo de las políticas penitenciarias, el colectivo de las mujeres es aún insuficientemente visibilizado. La diferencia porcentual de mujeres frente a hombres en situación de encierro es una circunstancia que incide en que en el establecimiento de planes y acciones aquellas ocupen una posición secundaria.

En el marco de la agenda de equidad en salud, EUROsociAL, ha apoyado, entre otros países a Colombia para el diseño de herramientas para monitorear la equidad y favorecer la acción intersectorial. Esta publicación es una revisión de las mejores experiencias internacionales en materia , propone recomendaciones técnicas y operativas para fortalecer la Comisión Intersectorial de Salud Pública de Colombia.
